What Qualcomm showcased at MWC 2016

Qualcomm demonstrated LTE speeds above 1 Gbps with the Snapdragon X16 modem and previewed future 5G applications. The technology it brought to Barcelona included the Snapdragon 820, with support for mobile virtual reality, and the Snapdragon Wear 2100, built for smartwatches and other wearables. Its programme also covered connected-car telematics and Halo wireless charging for electric vehicles.

From the Invisible Museum to the Advanced Audio room

At the Qualcomm Invisible Museum, a white structure with transparent walls framed a route between illuminated plinths. The rest of the stand combined curved showcases for a closer look at the devices, demonstration stations with screens, and an enclosed room dedicated to audio.
