A 5G New Radio prototype on the show floor
In Barcelona, Qualcomm showcased one of its first 5G New Radio connections using a prototype operating below 6 GHz. Before the commercial rollout of 5G, the demonstration showed how the technology could achieve multi-gigabit speeds and reduce latency compared with 4G LTE.
An open stand facing several aisles
Suspended signage and a continuous blue light strip made the stand visible from the aisle. Inside, large screens, connected-device displays and demonstration tables spread activity throughout the space.
A virtual reality island and space to meet
The Power Rangers experience occupied a curved platform with demonstration stations lit in different colours. The elevated photographs show how the activation and the connectivity demonstrations shared the open floor. The stand also included a hospitality area for meetings during the congress.
